he's a real nowhere man, living in his nowhere land (WRP)
Name: Edmund James Jabberwock
Age: 48
Model: Robert Carlyle
Character based on(if applicable): Sort of based on the Jabberwock... read the bio, it'll make more sense.

Bio: Edmund James Jabberwock was born in Wonderland, and he hopes to die in Wonderland. Growing up, the large castle of Wonderland was his home. His father was the official war commander in the high court of the Queen of Hearts, and since father's job was generally disliked (his father was often the one to capture and behead those who angered the queen), Edmund tried to stay far away, distracting himself from the blood on his father's hands. Long days at the palace were spent playing hide and seek with himself, making imaginary friends and exploring. His favorite place was the palace's Pet Atrium, where animals from all over Wonderland were kept in their own habitats to amuse the Queen's courtiers. As he grew up, people realized that he was not the darkly dangerous man his father was, and he soon became the head of the Pet Atrium itself. His official job was caring for the exotic Bandersnatches, Jubjub birds, and dodos from all reaches of Wonderland. The years went by, and he began to grow older. His father died and someone else got the man's job. Then one day, the Queen captured a new and fearsome creature, unnamed and monstrous with wings and scales like a dragon. When the creature was handed over to Edmund, his attempts to tame it were unsuccessful, and was wounded when the creature attacked him, giving him a thin scar on the side of his face and forcing him to use a cain when he walked. The courtiers, however, were amused by this happening and began calling the creature the Jabberwocky, to Edmund's annoyance. By the time Alice came around, Edmund was clearly becoming unfit for the job of head of the Pet Atrium. After many blunders and difficulties, he was fired. Upset and bitter, he was driven to begin abusing the drug. This got him nearly executed, but was thrown out of the palace instead, after a rare moment of remorse on the Queen's part. Forced onto the common streets of Wonderland, he soon set up a small pet shop as well as a pawn shop, which everyone refers to as Jabberwocky's Pets and Pawns.

Interesting character traits: brilliant at card games/tricks, scottish accent because robert carlyle, a bit like mr. gold from once upon a time only happier and not quite as mysterious, likes all animals, is bitter toward the court and the queen, is very VERY addicted to alice. he also is prone to recite odd/old english poetry and also has a pet raven named Writing Desk.

Jabberwocky

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought—
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! and through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.

"And hast thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
